Q: What is the new EKX expansion format and how will it differ from the previous EZkeys Sound Expansion libraries?Ī: EKX expansions produced beyond the EZkeys 2 release will offer a format tailor-made for the new EZkeys 2 framework and come with a custom MIDI content unique to each expansion. You need to own the core product (EZkeys 2) in order to run expansion content from the upcoming EKX format. As an existing owner of any previously released “Regular” EZkeys title, you will however qualify for the generously priced upgrade.
Will I automatically get a free upgrade?Ī: EZkeys 2 is not a free update, it’s a completely new program including a host of new features as well as a new core sound and MIDI library.
